Monitoring of the commutator in electric motors
The measurement of the hight of commutator segments and the width of insulating gaps is an important quality characteristic for research and development, production and set up. The multiNCDT systems offer many advantages for the non-contact monitoring of the mechanical condition of the commutator in electric D.C. motors or generators. The system is not subject to wear and will not affect or influence the commutator. A variety of small, compact sensors are available for installation even in difficult environments.
