Dynamometric measurement in ski-jumping
This measurement is used to give the trainers a tool to improve the technique of the jumpers.

On the track the last 6-8m are supplied with platforms which are mounted on load-cells to measure the force of each leg by jumping off the track. This information is used to optimize the jumpers technique.

HIC Impact testing on foundations
The quality of the ground is a very important factor when it comes to determine safety of the various surfaces. The surfaces of a playground for children for example, this makes the critical drop height very important. Impact testing is also used to measure damping-ratio of a football field and other sport related surfaces.

Deltec Equipment developed the Head Injury Criteria (HIC) Impact Tester that enables the determination of this critical value by means of a test. The HIC Impact Tester consists of a hemisphere (artificial head) supplied with the Altheris tri-axial acceleration sensor that registers the accelerations that occur during the impact.

Combining both high tech sensors as well as software a complete turn-key solution is provided, meeting all necessary standards.

Dynamometric measurement in swimming
When the Omega-start-blocks came on the market the swimmers had the ability to start with an additional foot-rest to get more power.

For those blocks a dynamometric measurement was created which allowed to measure the forces for each arm and leg separately. This gives the trainer the information of the forces of the hands and feet of the swimmer. Additional they get the reaction-time of the athlete.
